Before we start any project, we'll discuss what you need, but here's an idea of what to expect in working together.
WHO: We will meet in person the day of the shoot. Please come dressed for headshots if that is part of your requested package. Any models for your images should be pre-arranged as well. If you need help making these arrangements, just let me know. Any helpers or collaborators are welcome to join.
WHAT: Make sure you have selected the pieces you want photographed and have them ready to display. I will bring the backdrop and lighting for most types of images. Any additional props need to be discussed and gathered in advance.
WHEN: We will set a day, start time and tentative duration. Most shoots will be flexible to ensure we get all of the images we need, but we want to prepare for the general volume of images desired.
WHERE: For most shoots, I will come to you, be it your studio or an event. If we need to arrange a different space such as a studio for headshots or larger scale pieces, we can.
HOW: At the start of the shoot, we will discuss the types of shots needed. Typically we will have touched on some of this via email beforehand to make the most effective use of our time together, but you don't have to nail down every detail in advance. I will set up my gear and shoot. Then I will handle post processing to get you finished files after the fact.
WHY: Show the world the beauty of your work so they will want to support you. Don't let low quality images devalue your talent and craftsmanship. I specialize in photography of Arts & Crafts!
"I used the product photography services of Annie Winsett for both promotional photographs on my website as well as for jury photos to submit for art/craft show applications. Annie was easy to work with and made me feel like I was her Number 1 priority during the entire photo session. She took the time to understand me as an artist and fine craftsman which shows in the beautiful photography she produced. Besides being a talented photographer, she was very patient and thorough and made sure I was happy with the photographs at each step of the session. I felt comfortable discussing different photography ideas with her and we had a great time exploring several different artistic set ups for my jewelry. I look forward to working with Annie again for additional product and jury photos." - Ellen vanHully-Bronson of Pearl Kissed Jewelry
